We love experimenting with our loose leaf tea blends! While there's nothing better than a warm mug of Christmas Scrumper on a chilly evening, we wanted to see how we could transform its unique mulled apple cider notes into something truly celebratory.


This year, we've taken the warming spices and natural sweetness of our signature caffeine-free herbal blend and turned it into the perfect festive cocktail base. The result is a simple, refreshing, and beautifully spiced Spiced Apple Gin Fizz - the ideal drink for your Christmas gatherings!


The Christmas Scrumper Spiced Apple Gin Fizz Recipe


This recipe uses a super-strong brew of Christmas Scrumper to create a concentrated syrup, giving the cocktail a depth of flavor that is both seasonal and surprising.


Ingredients for the Best Christmas Tea Cocktail


For the Tea Base:

  • 3 tablespoons of Christmas Scrumper loose leaf tea

  • 250ml (8.5 fl oz) boiling water


For the Cocktail (Per Serving):

  • 25ml Gin

  • 50ml Cooled Christmas Scrumper Tea Base

  • Soda Water or Prosecco, to top


Garnish:

You can garnish with anything! We found the below suggestions complimented the blend well.

  • Slices of Orange

  • Pomegranet seeds

  • Thin slices of fresh apple


Instructions:

Brewing Your Loose Leaf Tea Cocktail Base


  1. In a heatproof jug, combine the 3 tablespoons of Christmas Scrumper loose leaf tea with 250ml of boiling water.

  2. Steep for 10 minutes to create a highly concentrated, flavorful brew.

  3. Strain the tea base thoroughly and allow it to cool completely in the refrigerator Tip: This can be prepared a day in advance!


Simply add 50ml of the tea base to your cocktail and taste the Christmas magic!
