HOW TO BREW LOOSE LEAF TEA
Truth be told, loose leaf tea is no more complicated than your average brew. We know it may seem fidley, but it's as easy as tea bags. Use one teaspoon (around 2g) per cup of tea - or two teaspoons for a pot.

1. Use fresh water - oxygen will give a cleaner and brighter cup.
2. Put a heaped teaspoon (2.5g) of loose leaf tea into your strainer or reusable cotton tea bag. The rule is generally 1gram of tea per 100ml of water.
3. Make your brew: Follow the guide for the correct water temperature
4. Leaving to steep for 2-5 mins. This part is entirely down to you - some people like a strong taste, some prefer a more delicate cup.
5. Remove your strainer or tea bag, and set aside on a saucer to reuse for your next brew. In order to reuse the leaves, don't let them dry out.
6. When done, empty your leaves into your food waste bin or home compost pile.
