THE TEA
A single origin Kenyan Sencha Number One grade green tea from the high-altitude farms of the Rift Valley. Lively and grassy with a honey sweetness underneath and a clean moss finish, it is unlike anything grown outside East Africa. This tea is bold and purposefully untamed, suited for those seeking a high-energy, high-antioxidant experience.
THE ZEBRA
The savanna moves. Everything in it either runs or is run from, and the zebra does neither in the way you expect. Those stripes do not disappear into the grass. They move through the landscape at pace, each animal's pattern completely individual, worn since birth like a signature that no two share. Zebragrass carries that energy into the cup. Grown outside the traditional green tea regions and shaped by a completely different set of conditions, it does not try to be something it is not, because what it is turns out to be extraordinary.
FROM THE PLANET
Kenyan tea farmers in the Rift Valley began cultivating Sencha-style Camellia sinensis using Japanese production methods. The volcanic soil and equatorial sun create antioxidant levels in the leaf that are almost unmatched. The intensity of UV light at high altitude forces the plant to produce more protective polyphenolic compounds. The result is a leaf with an antioxidant profile that has surprised researchers who expected to find such levels only in traditional growing regions. Traditionally, these high-altitude teas are used for their potent restorative properties.

Circular thinking: your caddy or tin is built to be refilled. When the tea runs out, the artwork stays. Order a refill pouch and keep going. Your packaging choice matters so we offer two options: certified home compostable pouches that break down naturally in 10 to 12 weeks, or our I'm Green recyclable pouches made from sugarcane. Both are better than single use. Neither belongs in landfill. Everything else in your order, from the tissue paper to the tape, is either compostable or recyclable.
