A medium roast blend of Brazilian and Guatemalan Arabica, grown on volcanic soil and roasted to a point where both origins are clearly present. Maple syrup warmth opens the cup, followed by toasted pecan, buttery toffee, and milk chocolate. This selection is deep-bodied and smooth, offering a silk-like texture that remains approachable throughout the day.
THE VOLCANO
Volcanic mountain ranges stretch across South and Central America, depositing mineral-rich ash into the soil to create extraordinary growing conditions. A Spider Monkey sits quietly in the foreground, inhabiting the canopy above those mountains with the ease of a creature that has never needed to rush. Vulcao Meloso means Molten Mellowness, a name that holds the tension between the powerful geological forces underneath and the gentle presence within the forest canopy.
FROM THE PLANET
Brazilian Arabica from the highlands of Minas Gerais provides the broad, chocolate-heavy depth and natural body that anchors the blend. Guatemalan beans from the volcanic Antigua region add a brightness and fruit complexity. Medium roasting allows both origins to express themselves fully before the roast character begins to dominate. Honey-washing in Guatemala, where coffee cherries are dried with partial fruit pulp still attached, transfers natural sugars into the bean to create the maple and toffee sweetness. Studies suggest that medium-roast Arabica contains high levels of chlorogenic acids and trigonelline, which research indicates may support metabolic health and sustained mental clarity as part of a balanced lifestyle.
