Every ingredient in this blend has its own geography, all brought together in a single cup.
FROM THE PLANET
Chai has been prepared on the Malabar Coast for generations. Each spice in this blend carries documented traditional use, such as ginger for digestion and circulation. Cinnamon is used as a warming and settling ingredient, while cardamom is used for respiratory ease. Clove is valued for its antimicrobial properties. Combined with the high antioxidant content of Indian Assam (Camellia sinensis) and Madagascan vanilla (Vanilla planifolia): this blend functions as well as it tastes.
INGREDIENTS
Black tea (Camellia sinensis), ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, white pepper, clove, nutmeg, calendula petals, organic natural flavours. No allergens from the UK 14 major allergen list present. Produced in a facility that handles nuts and various botanical ingredients.
HOW TO BREW
Water temperature: 95 to 100 degrees C. Freshly boiled. Quantity: 1 heaped teaspoon per cup, approximately 2.5g. Steep time: 4 to 5 minutes. Brew with oat milk or dairy milk for a proper masala chai, heating gently together for a richer result. Makes an excellent iced chai latte.
