THE BLEND

A tribute to the specific terroir of the Uva Highlands, this cup captures the exotic vibrancy of the Sri Lankan jungle. Tightly rolled Ceylon Gunpowder leaves provide a bold base with a smoky, mossy depth that is rare for green tea. This backbone is balanced by the sharp zest of Egyptian hibiscus and Patagonian rosehip before being finished with the sweet nectar of pomegranate. The result is a tart, cleansing, and vividly refreshing cup that functions as a sophisticated palate cleanser.

THE JUNGLE

High in the Uva Highlands, the day does not start with a shout, but with a gradual reveal as the rising sun burns through the mist clinging to emerald tea terraces. Deep within the dense canopy, a red-faced malkoha remains perfectly still upon a lichen-covered branch, its crimson mask a silent sentinel over a river reflecting the turning amber sky. Here, the air is heavy with the scent of wet moss and the ripening sugar of fruit. Crimson hibiscus blooms and wild rosehips sag with the weight of the morning dew, while a pomegranate has split itself wide to offer up ruby seeds to the heat of the light. This is a place where time is measured in the slow unfurling of a leaf and the quiet dip of a wing, inviting the drinker to emerge into a world of unhurried, otherworldly vibrancy.

FROM THE PLANET

The base of this blend is Pekoe Gunpowder green tea, known botanically as Camellia sinensis, which is steamed and rolled into tight pellets to lock antioxidants inside the leaf until the moment of infusion. These leaves are blended with Hibiscus sabdariffa from the Nile Delta and Rosa canina grown in the Patagonia region of Chile. Studies suggest that the high Vitamin C content in these botanicals creates a bio-available synergy that helps the body absorb the unique antioxidants found in green tea. Pomegranate provides a natural tannic bridge: creating a round mouthfeel and a smooth finish that has been traditionally used in Mediterranean cultures for its refreshing and digestive properties.

INGREDIENTS

Green tea (Camellia sinensis), rosehip pieces, hibiscus petals, pomegranate, natural flavours. No allergens from the UK 14 major allergen list present. Produced in a facility that handles nuts and various botanical ingredients.

Circular thinking: your caddy or tin is built to be refilled. When the tea runs out, the artwork stays. Order a refill pouch and keep going. Your packaging choice matters so we offer two options: certified home compostable pouches that break down naturally in 10 to 12 weeks, or our I’m Green recyclable pouches made from sugarcane. Both are better than single use. Neither belongs in landfill. Everything else in your order, from the tissue paper to the tape, is either compostable or recyclable.
