THE BLEND
A Special Leaf grade Lapsang Souchong from Xingchun in Fujian Province, China, blended with fiery red cornflower petals. Deeply aromatic with a smokiness that is smooth rather than sharp: it is dark, earned, and absolutely worth your time.
THE DRAGON
In Chinese tradition, the dragon does not announce itself: it governs water, weather, and the passage of wisdom across time with an authority accumulated across thousands of years. You do not encounter the dragon, you become aware of it. The story of this tea begins in the Wuyi Mountains, where farmers began smoking leaves over pine wood fires. What started as necessity became one of the most distinctive teas in the world through several hundred years of getting something right.
FROM THE PLANET
Souchong refers to the larger, lower leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, which found their highest expression through pine-smoke drying in Fujian Province. Smoke-dried teas hold a long place in Chinese practice as warming and grounding botanicals. The phenolic compounds developed during smoking give the tea its particular flavour profile. While it has a lower antioxidant rating than unsmoked teas: this is a function of the process rather than a measure of quality.
INGREDIENTS
Black tea (Camellia sinensis), cornflower petals. No allergens from the UK 14 major allergen list present. Produced in a facility that handles nuts and various botanical ingredients.

Circular thinking: your caddy or tin is built to be refilled. When the tea runs out, the artwork stays. Order a refill pouch and keep going. Your packaging choice matters so we offer two options: certified home compostable pouches that break down naturally in 10 to 12 weeks, or our I'm Green recyclable pouches made from sugarcane. Both are better than single use. Neither belongs in landfill. Everything else in your order, from the tissue paper to the tape, is either compostable or recyclable.
