FROM THE PLANET
Lavender, grown across the high plains of Provence and Bulgaria's Thracian Valley, contains linalool, a naturally occurring terpene studied for its effects on the central nervous system and its association with reduced cortisol response and improved sleep onset. Spearmint, cultivated across Morocco's Meknes region and the wider Mediterranean, contains rosmarinic acid, a polyphenol studied for its neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory properties and its association with cognitive ease. Passion flower (Passiflora incarnata), native to the Americas and long cultivated across the Mediterranean, is among the most thoroughly researched botanicals for nervous system support. Studies suggest its flavonoid content, including apigenin, supports calm focus and sleep quality without sedation or dependency. Lemon verbena, originating in South America and now grown across southern France and North Africa, contains verbascoside, a phenylethanoid glycoside studied for its antioxidant activity and its calming properties when consumed as an infusion. Willow bark (Salix alba), sourced from Eastern European botanical cultivation, contains salicin, the naturally occurring compound with one of the longest documented histories in herbal medicine, recorded in ancient Egyptian and Greek botanical practice. Nettle, harvested from European farms, contributes a nutritive grounding layer of vitamins and minerals. Rose petals and mallow petals soften the finish. Rooibos from South Africa's Cederberg provides the naturally caffeine-free base that carries the whole blend without competing with it.

HOW TO BREW
Water temperature: 95 to 100 degrees C. Freshly boiled. Quantity: 1 heaped teaspoon per cup, approximately 2.5g. Steep time: 4 to 5 minutes. Caffeine free. Suits afternoon or evening equally. The blend cold-brews well overnight in the fridge for a gentler, naturally floral tonic.
